Uluslararası Şeffaflık Örgütü'nün 2022 Yolsuzluk Algı Endeksi'nde Türkiye, 180 ülke arasında 101. sırada yer alıyor ve son bir yılda iki puan kaybetti. 2013'ten bu yana 48 basamak gerileyen Türkiye, son 10 yılın en düşük puanını aldı. Uluslararası Şeffaflık Örgütü Türkiye Temsilcisi Oya Özarslan, son 10 yılı "Türkiye'nin yokuş aşağı gitme süreci" olarak nitelendiriyor ve yolsuzlukla mücadelede hiçbir adım atılmamasının ilişkili olduğunu belirtiyor. Türkiye, yeni bir yola girmeye mahkum.
